Ayat of the Day
The similitude of those who spend their wealth in the way of ALLAH is like the similitude of a grain of corn which grows seven ears, in each ear a hundred grains. And ALLAH multiplies it further for whomsoever HE pleases and ALLAH is Bountiful, All-Knowing. (2:262)

Hadith of the Dayy
Abu Hurairah has related that the Holy Prophet (sa) said: Allah does not regard your bodies and looks, but looks at your hearts (Muslim)

Quote of the Day
Expounding the concept of fidya, expiation for those who cannot fast, Hazur (aa) said that it should be made in accordance to one’s normal standard of living and that its objective is also to seek the capacity from Allah to be able to fast (Friday Sermon October 24, 2003 by Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V)

“Daily Knowledge” is a subscription email service provided by www.ahmadiyya.ca (the official website for Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam, Canada). Each day, an email is sent to all the subscribers explaining different aspects of Islam and Ahmadiyyat.

An Ayat is a verse from the Holy Qur’an.

A Hadith is a saying of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) that was initially passed down by Muslim families, and later compiled. That’s why most of them start out as ” relates that…”.

A Quote is a quote from different sources, e.g., The Promised Messiah (May Allah be pleased with him).
